CONSULTATION Our installations are carefully planned, regardless of size, complexity and budget for new office facilities as well as existing ones. Communications technology is constantly changing and if we follow today’s trends, voice and data low-voltage infrastructure communication cabling are ever more complex. Consulting with an expert is imperative prior to the initiation of any such project. So before you proceed with your next communication project, consider Optec to perform a comprehensive analysis in executing a custom plan and installation cabling infrastructure for your needs. At the same time, we will provide realistic cost appraisals that enable you to determine the appropriate mix of technology that works within your organization’s planned budget.

DESIGN A well designed cabling system can eliminate common problems from arising in the future, which are evident, when the cabling design is improperly managed. Each system is equipped with physical and electrical characteristics, which are unique for that system. Optec’s consultant team can determine the cabling system that best fits your office environment for both voice and data low voltage infrastructure. We will perform an on-site survey and provide a detailed proposal outlining the options and recommendations including the architectural and engineering elements such as cable plant design, data center layout and computer room equipment. We guarantee design to work with the customer’s applications/design.

INSTALLATION Today’s voice and data low-voltage infrastructure communications wiring is more than just the pulling of cable. Today’s technology requires experienced technicians with an extensive knowledge of cutting edge technologies with the proper understanding of topologies, distance limitations, and the various components including EMI and RFI interference. All of our installations are fully tested and certified to industry standards.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT Turn to Optec, as our project management team will perform frequent inspections to ensure quality control and timely performance to meet your schedule and deadlines. With our experience, we can even provide independent project management. We will oversee outside installation teams on your behalf to guarantee the same quality control we offer for our installations.

DOCUMENTATION At the end of the project, we will provide as-built documentation on Auto-Cad or Visio diagrams and cable certification for your records that will assist you in the operation of your newly installed cabling system. If you need BMS development and support, ask us about Document Building Management Systems (DocBMS). DocBMS provides firm-wide access to a centralized database system with up to date low-voltage riser documentation. This documentation allows for proper business planning, analyzing infrastructure capacities, and works as a resource for day to day operations at the facility.
